Fergus Greensmith, noto Gus (Manchester, 26 dicembre 1996) è un pilota di rally britannico.

Carriera

Ex portiere dei giovanili del Manchester City, prima di partecipare alle competizioni rallistiche, nel 2012 partecipò nel Campionato mondiale di karting C18-FIA U18, correndo contro Charles Leclerc, Ben Barnicoat e Joey Mawson.

Nel 2014, ha vinto il British Junior Rally Championship.

Nel 2015, ha partecipato al Rally di Gran Bretagna.

Nel 2018 al Rally del Messico è arrivato 9º e ha ottenuto punti per il World Rally Championship per la prima volta.

Nel 2019 partecipa al WRC2 Pro, che in quell'anno prendeva le radici del wrc2 che a sua volta le prendeva del wrc3, con il team M-Sport; correrà 8 eventi nella serie cadetta trovando 2 vittorie e concludendo al 3° posto finale. Il team gli concederà di correre 3 eventi nella massima serie dove raggiungerà il 9° posto come miglior risultato.

Nel 2020 viene confermato a tempo pieno, o quasi visto che correrà 6 dei 7 eventi del calendario: concluderà 1 gara in top 5 e finirà 11° nella classifica generale. Nel 2021 riuscirà a spingersi fino al 4° posto come miglior risultato, salendo al 9° posto nella generale. Nel 2022 conclude due volte tra i primi 5 guadagnadosi il 10° posto nella generale.

Nel 2023 scende di categoria tornando al wrc2, firmando con Toksport: su 7 gare disputate troverà 2 vittorie (in Messico e 2023), consentendogli di lottare per la vittoria del titolo, dove però conclude 2°. Nel 2024 fatica a essere competitivo vincendo solo 1 gara (in Kenya) e concludendo al 7° posto nella generale. Nel 2025 si svincola da Toksport ma rimane con Skoda: vince in Kenya e in Arabia Saudita chiudendo al 4° posto nella classifica del campionato.

Nel 2026 passa alla guida di una Toyota; la stagione però non splende: nei 6 eventi disputati non riuscirà a centrare la vittoria chiudendo al 6° posto nel campionato.
