Trichocerota is een geslacht van vlinders uit de familie van de wespvlinders (Sesiidae), onderfamilie Tinthiinae.

Trichocerota is voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door George Francis Hampson in 1893. De typesoort is Trichocerota ruficincta.
