Jonathan Simon Christopher Riley-Smith (født 27. juni 1938 i Harrogate, død 13. september 2016) var en britisk historiker som spesialiserte seg på korstogene. Han var professor i kirkehistorie ved University of Cambridge. Han var «fellow» ved Emmanuel College. Han utdannet seg ved Eton College og Trinity College i Cambridge.
I løpet av sin karriere underviste han ved University of St Andrews, Queens' College i Cambridge og Royal Holloway College i London i tillegg til Trinity College.
