The 1964 Intercontinental Cup was the fifth edition of the Intercontinental Cup. It was played over two legs in September 1964 between 1963–64 European Cup winners Inter Milan and 1964 Copa Libertadores winners Independiente. Both teams would later play each other again in the 1965 Intercontinental Cup.
Because both teams won one match each, a playoff was played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, which Inter Milan won thanks to an extra time goal from Mario Corso.
