Atago Gongen (愛宕権現) is a Japanese kami. People believe he is the local version (Gongen) of the bodhisattva Jizō and Shinto goddess Izanami. He rides a white horse and has a ringed staff and a desire-cancelling jewel.

The first people to worship him were Shugendō believers on Mount Atago in Kyoto. People worship Atago Gongen as a protector against fire and samurai worship him as a god of war and victory. There are about nine hundred Atago Shrines around Japan.
