Premise

Walter White, an overqualified high school teacher, lives a life he is not satisfied with. He is often outdone by his prideful brother-in-law Hank, and matters are made worse when he is diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

Desperate to raise money to provide for his family after he dies, Walter partners up with Jesse Pinkman, a former student of his to cook highly pure crystal meth. He adopts the persona "Heisenberg", and slowly delves into the criminal underworld, dealing with dangerous figures in the drug trade while building his own ego-driven empire.
