Henry R. "Hank" Schrader ASAC is a fictional character in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad, played by Dean Norris and created by Vince Gilligan. He is a special agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration and is the brother-in-law of the show's main character Walter White.
After Walter turns into the drug lord "Heisenberg", Hank is seen attempting to search for the real identity of Heisenberg for most of the series, not knowing it is Walter. Hank's character development during the time of series and Norris's performance have often been praised, with many calling him as the true hero of Breaking Bad.
