Lutz's button frog (Cycloramphus lutzorum) is a frog. It lives in Brazil.

Home

This frog lives on the ground in Atlantic Forest. Both adult frogs and young frogs live near water, especially rocky streams where the water moves fast. Scientists have seen this frog between 500 m (1,600 ft) and 900 m (3,000 ft) above sea level.

Scientists have seen this frog in protected places.

Young

The tadpoles stick to rocks in the same streams where the adult frogs live.

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. There is a big piece of Atlantic Forest where the frog lives. People used to cut down big pieces of forest, but this was a long time ago. In some places, people still cut down some forest to make towns, big farms and small farms, tree farms, and places for cows to eat grass.
