Elissa Blair Slotkin (born July 10, 1976) is an American politician. She is the junior United States Senator from Michigan since 2025. She was a U.S. Representative from 2019 to 2025. Slotkin is a member of the Democratic Party.
She was a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst during the Barack Obama presidency.
In February 2023, Slotkin announced her decision to run for the U.S. Senate in 2024. She won the election in November 2024, beating former Republican congressman Mike Rogers.
