Fritziana is a group of frogs in the family Hemiphractidae. They live in southeastern Brazil from Espírito Santo to São Paulo state.
Scientists used to think this was the same as Flectonotus, but they changed their minds in 2011. They put the frogs in the Flectonotus group into two different groups. These frogs live in different places: northern South America (still called Flectonotus) and the other from southeastern Brazil (now called Fritziana). The frogs also act differently and have different bodies and DNA.
