From Zero is the eighth studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on November 15, 2024, through Warner Records and Machine Shop. This is the band's first studio album since One More Light (2017). It is also the first album that includes vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain, following the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017 and the departure of drummer and band co-founder Rob Bourdon.
From Zero received positive reviews from critics upon release. The album is supported by the From Zero World Tour, which began in September 2024 and is set to finish in June 2026. A deluxe version of the album was released on May 16, 2025.
On September 5, 2024, Linkin Park announced From Zero after a live-streamed performance of several songs, including the lead single "The Emptiness Machine". On the same day, Armstrong was confirmed as the band's new co-lead vocalist, with Brittain taking over Bourdon's role as drummer in the band. The band had also revealed a six-date arena tour in support of the album. On September 22, the band performed "Heavy Is the Crown" during their show at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany. It was released as the album's second single on September 24. The song was the main theme for Riot Games' 2024 League of Legends World Championship. A redone version, with new vocals from Armstrong and Mike Shinoda, was included on the soundtrack for the second season of the television series Arcane. The third single, "Over Each Other", was released on October 24. "Two Faced" was surprise-released as the fourth single on November 13.
On January 24, 2025, Linkin Park released an a cappella version of the album, followed by an instrumental version of the album on February 28. A deluxe edition of From Zero was released on May 16. It includes "Unshatter", "Let You Fade" and "Up From the Bottom" as additional songs, and five live tracks.
On Metacritic, From Zero has an average score of 71 out of 100 based on 11 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".
On the UK Albums Chart, From Zero debuted at number one on the chart. This marks the band's first number one in the country since Living Things (2012). The album was later certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry for 60,000 units in December 2024 and Gold for 100,000 units in April 2025. After the release of the deluxe version, the album re-entered the chart at number 23.
On the Billboard 200, From Zero debuted at number two, behind Ateez's Golden Hour: Part.2. The release of the deluxe version led the album to re-enter at number 71.
All tracks are written by Linkin Park (Emily Armstrong, Colin Brittain, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda), alongside additional writers as noted.
