The giant barb (Catlocarpio siamensis), also called a Siamese giant carp, is the biggest cyprinid fish in the world. It is found in the Mae Klong, Mekong, and Chao Phraya Rivers. Due to overfishing and habitat loss, it is classified as critically endangered by the IUCN Red List.
