Gjakova

Gjakova (Albanian language) Gjakova or Gjakovë; Serbian: Ђаковица, Đakovica;) is a city and municipality in western Kosovo^[a]. It is also the administrative centre of the district with the same name. The municipality's population is estimated at 150,000 (2007). The city is located at 42°23′N 20°26′E / 42.39°N 20.43°E / 42.39; 20.43.
