Jackson (formerly, Botilleas, Botilleas Spring, Bottileas, Bottle Spring, and Botellas) is the county seat of Amador County in the U.S. state of California. The population was 5,019 at the 2020 census. The city is connected to State Route 49 and State Route 88.
