Vizcacheras' white-lipped frog (Leptodactylus bufonius) is a frog. It lives in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina.

Home

These frogs live in many kinds of places, for example the Amazonia, Pantanal, and Cerrado places. This frog is good at living in places that people have changed. Scientists saw the frog between 0 and 800 meters above sea level.

Scientists saw the frog in many protected places: Mburucuyá, Río Pilcomayo, Defensores del Chaco, and Copo national parks and Salinas Grandes, Chancani, and Loro Hablador provincial parks.

Young

The male frogs dig holes for the eggs. They dig the holes near ponds.

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. In some places, frogs might be in danger when human beings change the places where the frog lives to make farms. The chemicals from the farms can hurt the frog.
