Midnight Memories is the third studio album by English-Irish boy band One Direction. It was released on November 25, 2013, by Columbia Records, Syco Music, and Sony Music. The album has a slightly more rock-influenced sound compared to their earlier albums.

It became the fastest-selling album in Amazon UK history, breaking the record set by their previous album Take Me Home (2012). In the United States, it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making One Direction the first group ever to have their first three albums debut at number one there. Even though it was released late in the year, Midnight Memories became the best-selling album of 2013 worldwide, with four million copies sold, according to the IFPI. The album was promoted with four singles: "Best Song Ever," "Story of My Life," "Midnight Memories," and "You & I."
