Perpendicular bisector

A perpendicular bisector is a line, segment, or ray which is perpendicular to a segment and bisects a segment. There are four right angles formed by an intersection in a perpendicular bisector. This leads to the length of a divided segment being equal to the sum of its parts. A perpendicular bisector can also create a midpoint in a segment. This can also lead some points to be equivalent to each other.
