Splatoon 3 is a 2022 shooter game. It was developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It has many returning elements from the previous games in the series, Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It was released on September 9, 2022.

Modes

The game has competitive, cooperative, and solo modes. In the competive modes, players face eachother in 4v4 teams. Modes include Turf War, Tower Control, Clam Blitz, Rainmaker, and Splat Zones. The cooperative game mode is Salmon Run, where players face waves of Salmonoids to collect enough Golden Eggs to meat the quota in time. The solo mode is the story, Return of the Mammalians, where the protaganist, New Agent 3, stops Mr. Grizz from spreading Fuzzy Ooze all over the world, turning everything into mammals.
