The Henry Stickmin Collection

The Henry Stickmin Collection is a point-and-click adventure video game. It was made by Marcus Bromander, more known as "PuffballsUnited" online, and published by Innersloth, released on August 7th 2020. The game follows the titular silent protagonist and criminal, Henry Stickmin, making choices to set different paths on his journey, which depends on what the player chooses.

The game is a collection of the 5 original Flash games, Breaking the Bank, Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex, remastered and redone with new features and also including its own unique soundtrack composed by many different composers, notably Puffballs himself and Ockeroid. All of the original games were from Newgrounds and Stickpage. The collection came with a whole new game entirely, Completing the Mission, announced in 2016 and released alongside the collection itself. The game is thrice as large as the rest of the games, and features entirely new content, as well as serving as the final entry of the Henry Stickmin games.

The game was well received by fans, being praised for its humour, story and animation. The game also served a big boost for Innersloth's other game, Among Us, with the crewmates appearing as collectibles you can find in Completing the Mission.

History

Henry Stickmin made his first debut within a video simply named "The Bridge", where he attempts to cross a bridge across a gap, but gets ridiculed by incoming obstacles. While The Bridge didn't have any gameplay, the next entry, "Crossing the Pit" did. It features Henry trying to get across a pit, but fails to do so. There is no ending to this entry of the games.

The Bridge and Crossing the Pit never made it into the The Henry Stickmin Collection as their own games, but Crossing the Pit is referenced during the Jewel Baron ending in Completing the Mission, where Henry tries to cross a gap when trying to steal the Norwegian Emerald from the Toppat Clan.

Plot

The Henry Stickmin Collection has 6 chapters, referred to as "episodes".

Breaking the Bank

The first game in the collection and considered the prologue of the series. It features Henry trying to break into a bank vault in the middle of the desert. No matter what choice the player makes here, Henry will either fail to break in or get caught by the police.

Escaping the Prison

The second game of the collection and the first episode. After Henry's failed bank robbery, he is now held at West Mesa Penitentiary. Then, two police officers, Rupert Price and Dave Panpa visit Henry's cell to give him a package, which they claim that they had checked the package for "anything useful". Henry opens the package, revealing a cake that hides many tools Henry can use to escape.

There are 3 endings in this episode:

Stealing the Diamond

The third game of the collection and the second episode. After escaping West Mesa Penitentiary, Henry watches the TV as his city's newly elected mayor reveals the opening of the Tunisian Archaeology Exhibit. However, Henry gets distracted by riches after it reveals the Tunisian Diamond was revealed to be worth a whopping $112 million dollars, so Henry goes out to break into the National Museum of History and Culture to steal it.

Just like Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond also has 3 different endings:

Infiltrating the Airship

The fourth game of the collection and the third episode. After Henry steals the Tunisian Diamond from the museum, he is captured by the government. Captain Hubert Galeforce and government pilot Charles Calvin explain to Henry that they need his help to take down a clan of thieves known as the "Toppat Clan", led by Reginald Copperbottom and his Right Hand Man.

There are 4 endings to this episode; unlike the previous games, Henry's allegiances vary depending on the ending:

Fleeing the Complex

The fifth game in the collection and the fourth episode. After the events of Infiltrating the Airship, Henry is captured and imprisoned in a prison complex called The Wall, wardened by Dmitri Johannes Petrov.

There are 5 endings to this episode, and like the last game Henry's allegiances vary depending on the ending:

Completing the Mission

The sixth and final game in the collection and the fifth episode. This time, The Toppat Clan is making one final move: launching a space station into orbit, where if they succeed, they'll be impossible to be taken down by The Government.

Unlike all other games, the player picks a route from the endings of both Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex to make a story with its own conclusion, with 16 endings:

There is also a secret ending in the Toppat 4 Life route called Multiverse Correction, which can only be unlocked after getting every fail from every episode of the collection. In it, the CCC sends the mysterious package in Escaping The Prison to one year in the past in the West Mesa Penitentiary, kicking off all of the episodes. This secret ending also serves as a thank you from the creator for "enjoying the Henry Stickmin games for all these years".

Important Characters

Note that these are only the main characters, there are 425 characters total within the series. All of them (except Dave Panpa) have also been listed in order of overall importance, though not official. The story would never continue after Breaking the Bank if Panpa checked the package.
