Nyanzi Martin Luther (born 5 December 2009) is a Ugandan student, media entrepreneur and youth advocate. He founded Apex Media Services, a youth-focused media company that runs Block FM, and started digital skills training for young people. In 2026, at age 16, he submitted a petition to Uganda’s Parliament asking for state funding of community-based organisations (CBOs) and local non-governmental organisations (NGOs). This made him one of the youngest people to formally petition Parliament in recent years. His story has been covered by major Ugandan newspapers including New Vision, Daily Monitor, The Observer and The Independent because he combined secondary school with media work and civic action. Early life and educationNyanzi was born on 5 December 2009 at Nsangi Hospital in Wakiso District, Uganda. He is the first child of author Joan Vumilia and businessman Ssekaayi Simon. He has younger sisters. He attended several primary schools and completed his Primary Leaving Examinations at MK International School in Busega in 2023, scoring 13 aggregates. He then joined Kisozi High School in Buddo, Wakiso District, for secondary education. He continued school while running media projects. CareerNyanzi began in media as a teenage deejay called “Deejay Blockboy”. He later started Block FM, a youth-oriented radio and digital platform. In 2025 he formally set up Apex Media Services. The company runs Block FM 103.2 and other digital media work focused on music, youth content and training. Apex Media also runs Apex Digital Skills, a programme that trains young people in media production, graphic design, digital marketing and basic entrepreneurship. In interviews, Nyanzi has described the company as a small, growing youth operation rather than a large media group. In 2026 the company underwent leadership changes so that Nyanzi could focus more on his studies. His media work received national attention because of his young age and because he combined school with entrepreneurship. Civic activitiesIn February 2026, Nyanzi submitted a petition to Uganda’s Parliament. He asked for a National NGO Fund and better support for community-based organisations and local NGOs. He said these groups help with education, health and community development, especially when donor funding is reduced. New Vision, The Observer and other newspapers reported the petition and noted that he was among the youngest people to make such a formal request to Parliament. The proposal led to public discussion and later revisions after feedback from civil society groups. He has also spoken about youth leadership, digital skills and community programmes. These activities have been reported in major Ugandan media as examples of young people taking part in public life. ReceptionNyanzi has received coverage in independent national newspapers such as New Vision, Daily Monitor, The Observer and The Independent. The coverage focuses on three main points:
Some online reports make larger claims about audience size or company value. These figures have not been independently confirmed by major newspapers and are not included here. References

Description: I created a biography of Prince Jackson, the eldest son of the late pop singer Michael Jackson, but I don't even understand why this is considered harmful, it is just an overview of his life

I attempted to add an A7 speedy deletion tag to simple:Aiman Valoryn, as the article does not appear to establish a clear claim of significance and I could not find independent news coverage.
However, my edit was automatically blocked by the edit filter as potentially harmful. The system advised me to report the issue to an administrator.
Could an administrator please review the article and assess whether it meets the A7 speedy deletion criterion? I was unable to add the tag myself because of the filter restriction.
Thank you. NusaEditor (talk) 16:10, 25 October 2026 (UTC)
