The World Humanoid Robot Games (WHRG) is a contest featuring machines that look like people. It was first held in Beijing in August 2025.

There are many events based on different games and possibilities. Robots also compete on how well they can run by themselves Full autonomy means that the robot requires no human to complete the event. In 2026, some events stop humans from telling the robots what to do. In some events where humans are allowed to tell the robots what to do, robots that need to be told what to do receive half as many points as those that don't.

The 4 x 100m relay, soccer, tai chi, and gymnastics events did not allow humans to help the robots. Other events, like the 400m obstacle course and kickboxing, allow a human to help.
