The Corrin Hill Cross is a Christian cross on a hill near Fermoy in County Cork, originally known as Carn Thiernagh . The hill is a religious and royal site which dates 3000 years to the Bronze age. There are ruins of a ring fort dating to the Iron Age enclosing the top of the hill. The druid Mug Ruith is rumoured to be buried there. The current cross is approx 9m high and stands on land maintained by Coillte who also maintain the walk through the woods and up the hill. The hill, which overlooks the Cork-Dublin motorway, is 222 meters high. A local group erected the cross in 1933 during the “Holy Year” dedicated by Pope Pius XI to mark the 1900th anniversary of the crucifixion. The route up is marked by stations of the cross.
In 2026 there were concerns about the figure on the cross and work was begun to maintain it. The figure of Jesus is being replaced. The artist for the 300kg, 2.8m statue is Mick Wilkins.
Serra Cross Park is known for its sweeping views of the area with visibility to parts of County Tipperary.
