David Redlawsk is an American political science professor and politician who is an incoming representative of the Delaware House of Representatives.

Redlawsk grew up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and was appointed Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Delaware in 2016. He has written books including co-writing The Positive Case for Negative Campaigning, on why politicians use negative ads.

In 2026, Redlawsk stepped down as department chair and filed to run for the Delaware House of Representatives as a Democrat for the 23rd District, replacing retiring Democrat Mara Gorman, running on policies including cost of living and regulation of data centers. He won the September Democratic primary with 58% of the vote. No Republican filed to run, and he was elected unopposed in November 2026.
