Bsherr, would you be willing to do this?:) GoldRomean (talk) 16:09, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
I looked at it and I thought the better approach was to copy the category header to the article, since its prose essentially encompasses a list. That's done and I have left Template:Copied on the destination talk page. What do we do with the category page now to preserve attribution? --Bsherr (talk) 17:59, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
Thanks, Bsherr (and congrats on your recent election!). The sole author is Ganmatthew, so I've credited them as outlined at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia §List of authors. That should be enough attribution-wise, so the category can be deleted now—I've listed it at WT:CFDW accordingly. Best, GoldRomean (talk) 04:08, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Thank you! Ah, that's smart. Should have done that with my edit. Cheers. --Bsherr (talk) 15:19, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
@Zxcvbnm: would you be willing to do this one? Marcocapelle (talk) 07:13, 29 October 2026 (UTC)
My nomination was for a pure delete, not dispersion. Perhaps one of the people who !voted to disperse it could do it, but I really doubt there will be much, if anything, to actually disperse that isn't already in a relevant category. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 07:23, 29 October 2026 (UTC)
Let me list them out first to ensure there is agreement here. The ones to be kept are bolded. Maybe someone else can handle the actual process of doing so.

@Marcocapelle: Whoops, I forgot this was a thing. I finished everything, with some minor changes because I had made small errors. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 09:34, 29 October 2026 (UTC)
@Woodensuperman: not that I know of. This sort of things is always implemented manually. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:50, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
That's a shame, it's quite a task! Have made a start, see Category:American television episode redirects to lists. Have also been clearing the redirects from the season categories at the same time, when they are in the series episode redirect categories. --woodensuperman 10:35, 12 October 2026 (UTC)
Manually merge/delete. @Zxcvbnm and LaundryPizza03: I suppose the two of you can sort this out together. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:25, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
Merge was approved, but support was subject to also merging the subcats. @Smasongarrison: will you be taking this forward too? – FayenaticLondon 12:52, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
Yeah, I can handle this. It'll take a bit to implement, but I'm happy to make it happen. (The semester started this week, and I have a grant submission due next week.)SMasonGarrison 19:37, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
Doing... There is more clean up to be done on renaming and redirecting the specific nationalities. So this should probably stay open for a bit while I do that. SMasonGarrison 15:52, 3 October 2026 (UTC)
It was noted by multiple commenters that some games are toys, so those ones should not be purged; they should be in both toys and games. Mclay1 (talk) 12:58, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

Templates removed or updated – deletion completed but backlinks yet to be resolved
These requests have been processed but "what links here" on the deleted category still shows multiple links from article and category space. This may be, in part, due to links in templates for which the revised version has yet to be populated; these are automatically processed by the job queue. The current backlog size can be seen there. Null edits can alo be used to resolve these backlinks. Please do not remove entries from the list until the only remaining backlinks are from project or user space pages.
