- Description
- Poorly constructed filter that cannot understand acronyms like ISBN, DOI, ISSN & OCLC.

Edit was not disallowed though a change to the filter may be needed. Using acronyms in a edit summary shouldn't trigger the filter. Nobody (talk) 06:31, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think we could add a second check below the first summary check that looks something like this:
!(summary rlike "DOI|ISBN|ISSN|OCLC")
– PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 13:44, 6 May 2025 (UTC)- Hi, PI7. Using
contains
on a regex exclusion means that it must look for the exact string, and usingrlike
(using regex) should look to exclude summaries that have DOI, ISBN, ISSN, or OCLC. Codename Noreste (talk · contribs) 16:32, 6 May 2025 (UTC)- Yeah you are right. I had copied some earlier code with

- Pegging (sexual practice) (filter log) (user filter log)
- Description
- I believe this error occurred because I edited some existing content, including quotes. However, as you can see, I corrected it according to the original sources and also made some copyedits elsewhere. You can verify the changes against the cited references. Additionally, I have added new content, all of which is accurately sourced.

- This was filter 614, one of EFFPR's mainstays, and was triggered by the word "femboy". Leave it out, and I think the edit should go through. Duckmather (talk) 16:53, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
Not done – The filter is working properly. Technically a false positive, but not worth to change the filter over this. Nobody (talk) 09:12, 8 May 2025 (UTC)

- Time in Italy (filter log) (user filter log)
- Description
- The current iteration of the page is a long winded AI generated text that barely conveys useful information and the information it does provide is repeated multiple times, it also containts useless fluffy descriptions (for example calling it "important" at the start of the article for no discernable reason and also describing in weird detail what italians could do with their time gained by daylight savings)
I was hoping to revert it to the last iteration of the page that is not written like that, but it is being flagged as disruptive (and i think it for some reason believes I am removing all content and putting nothing in its place? even if I am putting the old iteration using the same manner described on the Help:Reverting article, where it says "you load the text editor with a past version of the page, and then publish that, making it the current version")
I am ultimately not a usual Wikipedia editor though so this is up to whoever ends up reading this!

Done – The edit for this report has been implemented, but no changes to the filter were made. I agree that the recent changes to that article have too many issues to be called an improvement. Nobody (talk) 09:07, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- What do you think of expanding filter 3's edit summary check so that it sees "revert" after any word boundary instead of only at the beginning? Should Time in Iraq also be reverted? Jruderman (talk) 09:12, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
