Resources on responsibly covering suicides"Copycat suicides", or "suicide contagion", is when someone emulates another suicide they learned about either from local knowledge or due to accounts or depictions of the original suicide on television and in other media. Responsible and considerate coverage of suicides can decrease the risk of copycats.
