Gli Annals of Mathematical Statistics sono stati una rivista di statistica sottoposta a revisione paritaria e pubblicata dall'Institute of Mathematical Statistics dal 1930 al 1972, quando sono stati suddivisi negli Annals of Statistics e negli Annals of Probability. Nel 1938, Samuel Wilks divenne caporedattore degli Annals e reclutò il seguente staff editoriale: Fisher, Neyman, Cramér, Hotelling, Egon Pearson, Georges Darmois, Allen T. Craig, Deming, von Mises, H. L. Rietz e Shewhart.
