Hugo Henri Broos (born 10 April 1952) is a Belgian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the South Africa national team.
As a footballer, Broos played as a defender for Anderlecht and Club Brugge. At Anderlecht, he won three Belgian First Division titles, four Belgian Cups, two European Cup Winners' Cups, and the 1982–83 UEFA Cup. Between 1974 and 1986, he played 24 matches for the Belgium national team, helping them finish fourth at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
As a manager, he notably coached Club Brugge between 1991 and 1997, winning two Belgian First Division titles and two Belgian Cups, and won four Belgian Professional Manager of the Years during his career. He was also the manager of the Cameroon national team when they won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. In 2021, he became the manager of the South Africa national team, coaching them at two Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
