Bavanat (Persian: بوانات, also Romanized as Bavanat; formerly, Bavanat (Persian: بوانات, also Romanized as Bavānāt and Bavānāt) is a city and capital of Bavanat County, Fars Province, Iran.

In 2001, the name of Surian city was changed to Bavanat and now the center of Bavanat city is called Bavanat city.
