Nuke request
Hi, Could someone nuke all of ~2026-53864-70 talkpage creations please, Or do we just them win like we do with the gibberish ips (who create 1 talkpage with gibberish, hop on another IP, we reset the talkpage, they and we repeat the cycle), Thanks –Davey2010Talk 10:18, 8 October 2026 (UTC)
Done We had a consensus in the past to do it with this person who often makes "XYZ of Pakistan" or similar redirects that arguably shouldn't be there in the first place either. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 10:24, 8 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Ferien, Oh wow okay I had no idea I'll have to remember that in future,, Thanks so much for nuking all of their edits, Thanks –Davey2010Talk 10:30, 8 October 2026 (UTC)

Can this article be restored, it was deleted as non-notable even when it had a claim of notability. For WP:NPROF#5, he held a distinguished professor appointment at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a university classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research spending and doctorate production". The university is a major institution that has high research and high education, and even when it's a R1 university, it still defines the university with very high research. MoviesandTelevisionFan (talk) 17:01, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- In the future, WP:DRV is a better place for this. That said, I would support overturning the deletion because the article makes a claim of notability. Any comments @CountryANDWestern? Garsh (talk) 18:30, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- Alright thank you! It doesn't make sense why this had to be deleted, even when there was a claim of notability where he held a distinguished professor appointment at a R1 university, a major institution with high research and high education, already meeting WP:NPROF#5. A major institution doesn't have to be just Ivy League schools. MoviesandTelevisionFan (talk) 22:28, 9 October 2026 (UTC)

by creating new first and last lines on these userscripts:
They contain JavaScript strings with
{{Template:...}} somewhere in them, which makes them show up in Special:WantedTemplates as false positives. This will not affect the function of the userscripts, the comments only prevent them from showing up on the maintenance list. — *Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 22:41, 9 October 2026 (UTC)

Abuse filters
It's unfortunate that edits like those by Special:Contributions/~2026-55143-13 aren't being caught by abuse filters, particularly ones where they replace a page with a redirect. There are some circumstances where a temporary account redirecting an article could be useful, like if it's a duplicate or otherwise useless page with an appropriate target, but I think it should at least be warned or tagged by the filter. canadachick (talk) 19:02, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
- There is currently an abuse filter for this in the form of abuse filter 135 but it doesn't seem to have triggered anything lately. This is something we can look at expanding, though only a few admins are active who are proficient with abuse filters at the moment. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 19:18, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
- Filter adjusted by adding article name space. Ping me if more filter work needs to be done. -Barras talk 14:16, 15 October 2026 (UTC)
Protection request
Hi, Not sure if blockings going to achieve much so could someone protect List of programs broadcast by PBS Kids as IPS are constantly adding made up programmes to it, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:58, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
Done. In protecting this article I also observed that it was deleted a few months ago, but the issue should have been reverted instead of the article getting deleted. Davey2010, as you might have more experience in dealing with this article than me, you might want to check whether there were better revisions to revert to that I have just restored, although this article has been subject to vandalism for a long time. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 21:03, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Ferien, Ah okay thank you for restoring the previous revisions I didn't even know it had previously been deleted, I copy pasted from Enwiki a few days ago so it should still all be correct, Just taken a look and everything looks okay and up to date, Thanks as always for your help it's always greatly appreciated :), Thanks –Davey2010Talk 21:12, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
Ongoing subtle vandalism from multiple TAs changing the release date – quite possibly the same editor using multiple TAs? nil nz 04:19, 16 October 2026 (UTC)
- This was protected by TDKR Chicago 101 but as it indeed was a single IP on multiple TAs I removed the protection and dealt with the IP. I will keep an eye on the article to see if protection does end up becoming necessary later. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 16:29, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
There is ongoing low-level disruption on this article. The TA vandal that was disrupting continuously yesterday has now hopped onto a different TA to continue the same thing. We could block the TAs but it might be just as effective to protect the page for a few days. Spiderone (talk) 09:15, 16 October 2026 (UTC)
- Protection
not done but you likely won't see that vandal around for a little bit now.
--Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 16:31, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- They managed to return today somehow and vandalised Angry Grandpa again, as well as a few user talk pages. M7 has blocked the new TA, which hopefully gives us a bit of respite. Not sure how they managed to evade the block. Spiderone (talk) 08:12, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Mass imports (partly) from enwiki
I saw StoryGuy997!28 (talk · contribs) and ~2026-55702-80 (talk · contribs) as the last active tempaccount among several other accounts creating pages nearly copied from enwiki. In the meantime StoryGuy997!28 was blocked as some block-evasion. But the copyvios and partly unsimplified pages of the old tempaccs remain. Most of them were more than 10000k with a single edit. And if the pages are clearly able to be qded, please review the old tempaccs, I will look for more affected pages. NDG (talk) 11:21, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
URL
Hi, Could someone add
| website = {{URL|http://www.pornhub.com/information#faq|www.youporn.com}}
to the infobox of YouPorn please as per Enwiki?
The spam filter wont allow me to add it, Thanks –Davey2010Talk 12:53, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
- Is that actually correct? Shouldn't it link to https://www.youporn.com/information/? We'd have to remove the entry from meta's global blacklist to add it. That's not a problem, but I'd like to make sure we add the correct stuff. -Barras talk 17:07, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
- This seems to originate from w:Special:Diff/1263349027 on enwiki. As far as I know they are not the same company, so the link should be as it were prior to this edit. The fact that it was in plaintext and not hyperlinked maybe suggests in the past they gave up on trying to add it as one - note Pornhub features no hyperlink. --Ferien (talk | join TBA!) 18:33, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Barras and @Ferien, I didn't delve into this; I just assumed this was the correct link, I was simply updating the YouPorn article, I also wasn't aware that PH has no such link, So I'm happy for this not to be included here and I've removed it from the Enwiki article too, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:49, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
- Nevermind, the plaintext one works which I didn't even know PH had so I've the plaintext one, Thanks –Davey2010Talk 19:54, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
