This project is designed to gather Wikipedians interested in Poland-related content, tools designed to help them, and offer a centralized place for relevant announcements and discussions.
If that sounds useful or fun, please watchlist this page and add your name to the participants list below.

This project prefers the English language. Please see the talk page for the noticeboard and ongoing discussions.

Our articles

We take care of the tens of thousands of articles, about 88,000 at last count – that's close to 2% of all articles on the English Wikipedia! Here is a breakdown by quality and importance:

This category contains pages that have been rated as "WikiProject" by the Poland task force of WikiProject Military history and WikiProject Poland. Pages are automatically placed in this category when the corresponding rating is given and the appropriate parameter is added to the project banner template; please see the project banner instructions and the assessment department for more information.

For more information, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Poland task force.

Naming conventions

For guidelines on article naming and style, see the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Poland-related articles) page (shortcut WP:MOSPOL).

If you want to upload a possibly public-domain Polish image, see here for a guide on what is in the public domain, and which license templates to use.

Articles in need of improvement

Articles tagged with various issues are listed in a sortable list at here (the on-wiki listing is no longer actively maintained). As of December 2010, 12570 or 18.7% were marked for cleanup. As of September 2012 that grew to 14790 or 20.3 % of (the also growing) total.

A frequently updated list of unreferenced biographies of living persons is here. As of September 2011, we have eliminated the backlog there, and as of September 2012, the list usually has between 0 to 2 articles. Adding referencing to living person bios is one of Wikipedia's priorities.
