Welcome to the Seattle Mariners WikiProject! Our mission is to maintain all Seattle Mariners-related articles. We will be hosting bi-monthly projects and collaboration. The project was founded in 2008, but died away. Now, this is the revamped project and we hope to get more users involved and create a helpful atmosphere to edit within the scope of the project. If you have any questions, see the talk page.

Scope

The scope of the project is quite obvious, any article that is directly related to the Seattle Mariners. That includes players, managers, executives, broadcasters, seasons, venues, team lore, and even active and inactive minor league baseball players who played in the Seattle Mariners organization. If there is a specific players who was drafted by the Mariners, but did not sign and never played or coached in the organization, users should not include them. That's the line of inclusion. Any questions or suggestions to changes in policy, please discuss on the project talk page.

To do

Here are some tasks awaiting attention: Article requests: Finish all year-by-year draft results, see {{Seattle Mariners year-by-year picks}}, Split up the Seattle Mariners all-time roster pages, see Philadelphia Phillies all-time roster Other: Add WikiProject Banners to talk pages of Mariners-related articles (all players on the 25-man roster or DL, as well as current managers and coaches are complete); review articles listed below under assessment; add Banner Shells to talk pages with 3 or more WikiProject Banners (most player pages will have at least three, for Biography, Baseball, and Mariners). It should also be an eventual long-term goal to get Seattle Mariners to GA status (currently B-class).
