A Fitch Ratings Inc. egy amerikai, New York-i és londoni székhelyű hitelminősítő intézet. Az Egyesült Államok Értékpapír- és Tőzsdefelügyelete által kijelölt, három országosan elismert statisztikai minősítő szervezet (NRSRO) egyike, és a Moody's és a Standard & Poor's mellett a „ három nagy hitelminősítő intézet ” egyikeként tartják számon.

Fitch Ratings a Fitch Group része, amely 100%-ban a Hearst Communications Inc. tulajdonában van. A hitelminősítő ügynökség világszerte több mint 30 országban van jelen, és több mint 2000 embert foglalkoztat. Németországban Frankfurt am Mainban Fitch Deutschland GmbH néven képviselteti magát.

Osztályozás

A Fitch kódjai

A Fitch esetében egy ország befektetésre javasolt besorolásúnak minősül, ha hitelminősítése BBB− vagy magasabb.

A BB+ és az alatti besorolású országok spekulatív besorolásúnak minősülnek , néha "bóvli" csoportnak is nevezik.

A CCC „jelentős hitelkockázatot” jelöl, ahol „a nemteljesítés valós lehetőség”. A CC „nagyon magas hitelkockázati szintet” jelöl, ahol „a nemteljesítés valószínűnek tűnik”.
