Charaxes bernardus is een Oriëntaals vlindersoort uit de familie van de Nymphalidae. De soort komt voor in India en China.
Taxonomie
De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1793 door Johann Christian Fabricius (als Papilio bernardus).
Op basis van moleculair en fylogenetisch onderzoek wordt de soort taxonomisch ingedeeld in de volgende ondersoorten:
