VandalHandle is a web-based Wikipedia counter-vandalism tool. It is a fork of AntiVandal created by Ingenuity, and is maintained by CocaPopsRather.
Unlike the original AntiVandal script, VandalHandle does not require the rollback permission; any logged-in user can use it. The tool loads recent edits in real time, prioritising those most likely to be vandalism using ORES integration, and allows for quick reversion and user warnings.
VandalHandle has been updated to improve accuracy when reverting edits by better preventing edit conflicts by verifying that the correct revision is being reverted and more reliably detects when another editor has already made a reversion. The user interface has also been redesigned for easier readability, and a more modern design.
No special permissions are required. Any logged-in user can install and use VandalHandle.

VandalHandle introduces several key differences and changes compared to the original AntiVandal script:
Go to Preferences → Gadgets → Advanced, check "Install scripts without having to manually edit JavaScript files", and save. Reload this page and click the "Install" button that appears.
Add the following line to your common.js:
{{subst:lusc|User:CocaPopsRather/VandalHandle}}
After installation, a "VandalHandle" link will appear beside your preferences menu — or visit the direct run page.
Default controls (fully customizable):
The source code is available at User:CocaPopsRather/VandalHandle. Contributions and suggestions are welcome at Wikipedia talk:VandalHandle.
VandalHandle v3 includes an optional AI-assisted review feature. When a user reviews a diff, the feature analyses the edit and displays a suggested action, a brief explanation, and a confidence percentage.
The output is advisory only. VandalHandle does not make autonomous AI edits, perform automatic reverts, or issue warnings by itself. Any revert, warning, or other action is decided and performed by the reviewing editor, who remains responsible for checking the diff and applying relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
This uses an OpenAI API key which the user will need to provide to use this feature.
