Since biographies are potentially under the purview of almost all WikiProjects, it is important that we work in tandem with these projects. Also, when seeking collaboration on articles, don't neglect to approach WikiProjects that are part of the geographical region your subject is/was in.
Increase the exposure of our work group by nominating our articles for their Portal FA and DYKs... Specific regional/country portals are listed in that section.

- Misc:
- John R. Woznicki — literary scholar and academic administrator specializing in twentieth-century American poetry and poetics. COI disclosure: I am John R. Woznicki, the subject of this request. I am posting here rather than creating an article about myself because I would like an uninvolved editor to assess independently whether the available sourcing supports a biography under WP:NACADEMIC.
Principal works:
- John R. Woznicki, Ideological Content and Political Significance of Twentieth-Century American Poetry, Edwin Mellen Press, 2001/2002, ISBN 978-0-7734-7316-4.
- John R. Woznicki, ed., The New American Poetry: Fifty Years Later, Lehigh University Press, 2013, ISBN 978-1-61146-124-4.
Independent scholarly reception and subsequent engagement:
- Orchid Tierney, "Back to the Future of Poetry? A Review of The New American Poetry: Fifty Years Later," Journal of Modern Literature 40.1 (2016), pp. 164–168, doi:10.2979/jmodelite.40.1.09. This is a four-page scholarly review devoted to the collection.
- Choice Reviews reviewed and recommended The New American Poetry: Fifty Years Later.
- Patrick James Dunagan published an extended independent review of the collection in Your Impossible Voice.
- Stephan Delbos, The New American Poetry and Cold War Nationalism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021), discusses Woznicki's scholarship in its treatment of critical work on Donald Allen's anthology and directly engages Woznicki's interpretation of Charles Olson, including at p. 135. DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-77352-6.
- Stephanie Anderson, "'It's Only Vanity if It's Not Good': Daisy Aldan and Women Midcentury Small Press Publishers," Post45 (2024), identifies Woznicki's collection alongside work by Stephan Delbos and Alan Golding as scholarship relevant to the significance of Allen's anthology.
Additional sources are available for routine biographical verification, including independent reporting by NJBIZ and institutional records from the universities at which Woznicki has served.
I have assembled a fuller source packet distinguishing (1) independent scholarly reviews, (2) subsequent scholarly engagement with Woznicki's own work, (3) subsequent citations/recognition of the edited collection, and (4) primary or institutional sources useful only for factual verification.
I am not asking an editor to reproduce a draft written by me or to accept my assessment that the subject is notable. I would welcome independent source evaluation, additional research, rejection of sources an editor considers insufficient, and an independent determination of whether an article is warranted under Wikipedia's guidelines. If an editor is interested, I can provide the complete source packet with bibliographic details and relevant page references.
