Karbonhidrat sülfotransferaz 1, insanlarda 11. kromozomun kısa kolunda bulunan CHST1 geni tarafından kodlanan bir proteindir. Proteinin polipeptit zincirinin uzunluğu 411 amino asittir ve molekül ağırlığı 46715'tir.

Proteinin kodlandığı gen, işlev bakımından transferazlara aittir. Enflamatuvar yanıt, karbonhidrat metabolizması gibi biyolojik süreçlerde etkinlik gösterir. Protein, golgi aygıtının zarında yerleşir.
