| Welcome—request protection of a page, file, or template here. | ||
|---|---|---|
|
Before requesting, read the protection policy. Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars. Extended confirmed protection is used where semi-protection has proved insufficient (see the rough guide to extended confirmed protection). After a page has been protected, it is listed in the page history and logs with a short rationale, and the article is listed on Special:ProtectedPages. In the case of full protection due to edit warring, admins should not revert to specific versions of the page, except to remove obvious vandalism.
Request addition of protection to a page, or increasing the current protection level
Request removal of protection from a page, or reducing the current protection level
Request a specific edit be made to a protected page
Request the non-urgent protection of multiple pages that do not require immediate administrator attention

Indefnite pending-changes: Persistent vandalism from non-autoconfirmed sources – Given the subject matter, this article has long been a routine pit stop for drive-by juvenile trolling on a occasional basis, but not enough to warrant full-blown semi protection. Giovanni Potage (talk) 07:35, 25 October 2026 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content. Danners430 tweaks made 19:14, 25 October 2026 (UTC)
Reason: Along with Digimon Adventure (2020 TV series), similar WP:EW and manually reverting necessary changes like "Based on" here and here. --~2026-47089-17 (talk) 20:06, 25 October 2026 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – persistent dump of AI by the same user (same IP over multiple temp accounts). Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 01:39, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – WP:CT/SA article subject to extensive sockpuppetry, cf. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Deva Sara999. Gotitbro (talk) 12:49, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Reason: Higher level of protection needed. Unicted content is still being added to this biography of a living person. Helper201 (talk) 14:22, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Disruptive editing by IP. Blackknight12 (talk) 14:33, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. dualcerbtalk 14:46, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Reason: He's famous and i think he deserves his legacy to be locked so random people dont edit it to random stuff. ~2026-57076-37 (talk) 15:43, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. dualcerbtalk 16:05, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – In the last month this page has had ten temporary accounts make edits that were immediately reverted. This page has had protection in the past but it expires and then the vandals come back. Due to the young nature of the saint, I think a lot of impious Catholic teens think it's funny to vandalize the page. An indefinite logged-in-only protection seems appropriate. ~Darth StabroTalk • Contribs 16:25, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Continued nationality-related disruption as soon as protection expired. The longest the page was protected was one year and we are still having problems. Mellk (talk) 16:28, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Somebody is using multiple temporary accounts to try to add a mistaken (grandparent) category; they never read warnings given to the previous account, and they ignore the comment in the text. You could either temporarily protect the page, or block a range of temporary accounts (qua, IP addresses I guess) until they quieten down. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:28, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – WP:LTA/HABS target. MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 18:15, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – WP:LTA/HABS target, should have been indef the first time. MakaylaHippo1998 (talk) 18:16, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Vandalism occurred immediately after the previous protection expired. Dudeman4297 (talk) 20:33, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Since the article is on the front page, it's been subject to quite a bit of vandalism. I might be late to the party with this request... - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 20:44, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
